Release The Committee on Energy and Commerce W.J. "Billy" Tauzin, Chairman Greenwood Requests GAO Review Of State Medicaid Rebate Programs WASHINGTON (February 4) - As part of a continuing investigation into
allegations of Medicaid waste, fraud and abuse, Oversight and Investigations
Subcommittee Chairman James Greenwood (R-PA) today called on the General
Accounting Office to examine the ability of states to constrain the growth in
drug spending without affecting enrollees'access to quality prescription drugs. (Attached
